About Us

Interviewing Basics was created by a team of highly skilled Master's students in the Instructional Technology department at Utah State University as a remix project. The result was well received from Dr David Wiley and he encouraged us to post it on-line. Below you can find out more information about the group.

Shauna Karren - Content/Group Lead
As a student counsellor in the College of Business, Shauna was in a prime position to provide content for this project. It was due to her contributions that this project has made it worthy of an iPod Shuffle offered by Dr David Wiley to the best "remix" project in his class.

Shaun Prinster - Creative Writing
Shaun's skills of creativity shine forth in his interactive story. This is nothing compared to his "slide-foo" skills in MS Powerpoint. His amazing abilities put him in a great position to become a leader in Instructional Technology. He has his own car, his original hair, and yes ladies he is still single!

Yu-Chun - Internet Content Researcher
The internet is a vast resource for Open Content and Yu-Chun was the one that mastered that content. Spending hours searching for photos, video, stories, etc. Without Yu-Chun this would have been a pretty boring project.

Bruce Daniels - Video Editing
With an undergrad in theater and his own video production company, Bruce was a natural selection for the video editing in this project. Bruce wrote the scripts for the different videos and provided the voices for each actor as well.

Bert Hileman - Web Programming
If you actually have access to this content it is because of the work of Bert Hileman. Running a fledgling web design business put Bert in the position to provide the programming for this site. His is the plight of the programmer where late nights were spent to meet deadlines and make sure the content flowed freely across the page.
